Jennie Doyle writes fiction and creative nonfiction that explore the tension between our self-protective armor and deeper, more vulnerable truths. Her work has appeared in Oregon Humanities. Jennie’s professional experience in college writing centers and Early Learning Hub programs inspires her stories, reflecting the vulnerability, resilience, and systemic inequities affecting children and families in the Pacific Northwest. She holds a BA in English Literature and served on the board of The Resilience Project, where she launched a walk-up theater featuring digital stories created by community members. She is an executive producer and extra in The Castellum of Blood.
When she isn’t writing, Jennie watches creepy found-footage videos with her husband, torments her two sweet and feisty kittens, and spends way too much money on local microbrews.
