Jennie Doyle holds a BA in English Literature and writes contemporary fiction and creative nonfiction that explore the tension between our self-protective armor and our deeper, more vulnerable truths. Her nonfiction appears in Oregon Humanities. She has worked as an editorial intern with Ashland Creek Press and served on the board of the Resilience Project, a community-building nonprofit. Jennie’s work in college writing centers and Early Learning Hub programs deepens her perspective on the systemic and personal disparities affecting children and families, especially those impacted by the opioid crisis in the Pacific Northwest.
When not writing, Jennie enjoys watching spooky ghost videos with her husband, tormenting her two sweet and feisty kittens, and spending way too much money on local microbrews. Her claim to fame? Her forced perspective cat made the front page of Reddit.
